Tournaments Grand Prix Winter-Spring

• Introducing children to intellectual sports;
• Popularization of chess as one of the main types of mass sports and recreation;

Competitions are held in 3 stages on the platform https://play.chessfirst.online:

• 19/06/2022 at 17.00 Moscow time;
• 24/07/2022 at 17:00 Moscow time;
• 21/08/2022 at 17:00 Moscow time;

• League A - for participants with a rating of 1500 or higher in rapid chess on the website https://play.chessfirst.online.
• League B - for participants who have a rapid chess rating on the website https://play.chessfirst.online of 1499 or less, as well as for chess players who do not have a reliable rating (rating with a “?” icon)

Conducting system: competitions are held according to the Swiss system in 9 rounds.

Time control - 5 minutes per game + 1 second of addition after each move, starting from the first.

The final places of each tournament are determined by the highest number of points scored. In case of equality of points, additional indicators for tournaments according to the Swiss system of the site https://play.chessfirst.online will be used for the distribution of places.

The final places at the end of the Grand Prix will be determined by the total number of points scored in all tournaments played.

The number of points based on the results of the tournaments is reflected in the summary table of the Grand Prix.

The winners and prize-winners of each tournament are awarded:

• 5 free lessons at the School;
• 3 free lessons at the School;
• 2 free lessons at the School;

All tournament participants get the opportunity to purchase subscriptions to study at the School at a discount that is equal to the number of points scored. If a fractional number of points was scored (0.5; 1.5; 2.5; 3.5; 4.5; 5.5; 6.5), they are rounded up (1; 2; 3 ; 4; 5; 6; 7).
